Sidebar (Favorites)
- I reserve the sidebar for the high level content
- Each of the pages serve as a pillar, for how I work and learn on a daily basis

Day To Day
- This is the page I use every day. It looks at the different tasks I have assigned for myself as well as upcoming demos and RFPs that are due
Deals
- All deals I’ve worked on. As their status changes, I make the change in their properties. This helps me have the most active deals top of mind
My Demos
- I separated out the demos from the deals because it then gives me the opportunity to look at past demos and pull knowledge from them
- Even though this information is in a separate database, I link back to the deal that it’s for in the Deals Database so that all relevant information will stay tied together
Internal Meetings, Presentations, etc.
- Another component of working in tech sales are all the internal meetings or presentations that we are forced to attend
- Since the largest commonality grouping these are the fact that they are internal meetings, I created a separate database for it
Education
- I’m constantly learning in this role and need to store my notes somewhere. That’s where this database came into play
WD Databases
- I am anal about organization and don’t like when my master databases are scattered across Notion. Rather, I want the master view to exist in a single area and then have views of the information exist across the platform
Foreword
- I feel like this way of thinking isn’t necessary anymore as Notion continues to upgrades
